About The Culture Junky

Jon Corteen is a success coach, two-time best selling author, speaker, co-founder of The Culture Junky, LLC and CEO & Founder of THG Financial Strate­gies LLC. His belief that a strong culture is the foundation for cor­porate growth led him to develop The Profit Culture Formula.


Jon felt he was always on the losing side of the workweek battle: five days on, two blissful days off. Rather than waiting for retire­ment to enjoy all seven days he founded THG and The Culture Junky, where he's since created and maintained the ideal company culture. In his opinion, we live too much life at work to be unhappy there.


Jon graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in political science. He now lives in Long Grove, Illinois with his wife Gretchen and children Luke and Grace. He enjoys spending time with his family, focusing on fitness, and exploring the outdoors.
