The Culture Junky

Does it feel like the weeks are beginning to go by faster and faster for anyone else? I was prepared to start this email with “it wasn’t that long ago…”

In fact, it was quite a while ago that I was emphasizing the importance of transparency and trust between you & your team members.

It’s one of the most important pillars that your culture is built on, and it’s one that I want to circle back around towards right now given everything that we’re going through right now because it’s that two-way trust that we’re all relying on right now.

At the same time as your team is trusting you to guide the ship through this period of uncertainty, you’re trusting in both your process and most importantly, your team members.

Like I said before, that trust is a two-way street.

The same way it allows your team members to trust in you, it allows you to rely on your team members.

By knowing that your processes are sound and you’re hiring the right people, you’re able to trust in those same people to continue to excel and grow even when you aren’t seeing them every day right now.

That trust in your team members comes from a trust in yourself, a trust that’s established through creating a tried and true formula that replicates your culture and adjusts it as necessary.

When forged in fire, your system and process will create the right culture that allows your team members to trust in you, and you to trust in your team members.

Have a great rest of the week, and be good to each other.
